JAMMU, Dec 14: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Member Lok Sabha from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency today raised the demanded regarding extension of Jammu Metro Rail from Jammu-Bari Brahmana to AIIMS Vijaypur in his Parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha.
Jugal Kishore Sharma raised the issue in Lok Sabha and said that after the Abrogation of Articles 370 & 35-A from Jammu and Kashmir tremendous development could be seen in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that all the projects have been expedited and development can be observed in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. Jugal, while discussing two major projects in Jammu and Kashmir said that DPRs for two big projects for Metro Rail in both Jammu and Kashmir are going to be completed. He, urged the Ministry of Urban Development that DPR for laying of Jammu Metro Rail is going to be finalized from Bantalab to Bari Brahmana but at a short distance from Bari Brahmana Station All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Jammu work has not been taken up.
He said that Jammu Metro Rail which is going to be laid from Jammu to Bari Brahmana should be extended up to AIIMS Vijaypur so that patients, staff and people of Jammu can avail the benefits of Jammu Metro Rail upto AIIMS.
